If you've been paying attention to the news at all lately, you likely saw that an NFL player on the Buffalo Bills, Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest on national tv during their game on Monday Night Football. Luckily, CPR & AED use was administered perfectly & he is alive and breathing.

Since then, I've received countless calls, texts, emails, and questions regarding the situation. In case you're not aware of my story, I went into sudden cardiac arrest when I was 17 years old, just a different sport - basketball. Just like Damar, I was saved because of CPR & the use of an AED. We both were very lucky in our situations that we received both CPR and an AED was used in time. Statistically, not as many people are lucky like myself and Damar due to the lack of an AED being available.

Our organization has been around for the last 8 years and since then we have donated 240+ AEDs so that in the case that a cardiac arrest happens, those people have the same outcome as myself & Damar Hamlin. To our knowledge, at least two lives have been saved because of AEDs that our organization has donated.

Since Monday, when Damar's cardiac arrest took place, our organization has received 70+ new requests for AED donations which is amazing, of course because they want to be prepared in case this happens in their location or facility. To fulfill these requests, we need the funding to do so.

If for any reason the events of NFL player, Damar Hamlin suffering cardiac arrest on Monday night affected you in any way and you feel it within you to support a cause that aligns with that directly, we started a campaign that's going to directly fulfil the AED requests that have been coming in since Monday's game.
